Learning to sing is one of the most amazing talents any individual can develop. At Guitarlina School of Music, we’re very proud to be able to provide singing/voice lessons.

Frequently Asked Questions
At what age can my child start learning how to sing?
Guitarlina School of Music provide singing lessons to students ages 4 and up.
What will my child learn?
At Guitarlina School of Music, your child will learn extensive vocal exercises, contemporary and classical singing styles as well as music theory.
How long will it take for my child to learn to sing?
Learning to play a musical instrument (voice) is a lifelong investment. However, It all depends on how much time the student is able to dedicate to practicing. At Guitarlina, we do teach music at your child’s pace, so we work with your child to ensure they’re growing, learning, and are able to comfortably perform on their instrument (voice).
Do we have to have any instrument to take singing lessons?
The short answer for this questions is no. We do expect our students to spend some time practicing at least for 10-15 minutes a day on vocal drills or assigned songs.
How many classes are offered per week and for how long?
All our lessons are one-on-one classes for beginners. We also do provide group lessons for more advanced students of no more that 4 students in a class (group lessons are scheduled upon availability). Our one-on-one classes are for 30 minutes long while our group lessons are for one hour long. All our lessons are held once a week, four times a month.
Do you offer make up lessons in case I can’t attend my class?
We do offer make up lessons for free. All make up lessons can either be scheduled by the student or parent through our online scheduling system or can be scheduled by our staff on the 5th week of every month. We require that parents/students schedule a make up class immediately following a class cancellation for non-attendance. We do require a 24 hour notice (except for emergencies) for any class cancellation to guarantee a free make up class.
How much are music lessons?
Music lessons at Guitarlina School of Music are $170 per month. Fees are automatically debited on the 3rd day of every month for your convenience.
Do you offer sibling/family discounts?
Yes, we do offer a $10 discount for each additional family member that has enrolled in our school.
Are there any contracts that must be signed?
No, at Guitarlina School of Music, we don’t have any contracts. We only required a full month of notice for any cancellations. Our classes are on a month-to-month basis. We do have terms or agreements that helps the parents/guardian know what to expect from Guitarlina School of Music and what we do expect from our families as well.
